Cat

They do not ask to be understood — only to be watched quietly. The cats are the painter’s longest and most everyday observation.

Tiger

A tiger need not roar to take the air out of a room. What the painter keeps is the force that remains when it goes still.

Horse

From the mane to the dust under the hoof, a horse gives its whole body to the single idea of forward.
